A 47-year-old Danville man was injured in a home invasion yesterday morning.
Shortly before 9:00 am yesterday, Danville Police responded to a residence in the 700 block of Green St. for a reported home invasion. The victim reported that he heard a knock at his door and answered after recognizing a female's voice. When he opened the door, three individuals forced their way inside, assaulted him and took his property. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The victim sustained injuries to his head during the robbery, was treated at SOVAH Health Danville and released.
The suspects were identified as 31-year-old Kimberly Ann Park, 55-year-old Charles Edward Pyles, and 34-year-old Kevin Anteaus James. All three were charged with robbery, B&E with intent to commit a felony and malicious wounding.
Park and Pyles were arrested yesterday and are being held in the Danville City Jail under no bond. James is currently wanted.
