Danville Police are investigating a robbery that happened late Saturday night at a local convenience store.
Charlie’s Stop N Shop #2 at 1354 Westover Dr. was robbed by two individuals at approximately 11:15 p.m. The clerk was alone in the store when the robbers came in and one of them brandished a handgun and demanded money. They were wearing dark clothes, gloves and had their faces partially covered and both were estimated to be between 5’8” and 5’10” tall.
The robbers fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and left the clerk unharmed.
