Due to the current Centers For Disease Control guidance, the Danville Festival in the Park board of directors has decided to cancel this year’s Racin’ and Tastin’ event and Festival in the Park.
“This was a heartbreaking decision for our volunteer board,” said Board President Jason Bookheimer. “We have been planning both of these events for almost a year; however, we believe this is the wisest decision. The goal is to help our community by encouraging healthy habits and return next April and May.”
Vendors who have already registered for Festival in the Park will be notified individually.
Racin’ and Tastin’, a fundraiser for Festival in the Park, was originally set for April 17; and Festival in the Park, for May 15-17.
