Danville man wanted after shooting at his girlfriend
Danville Police are searching for Marcus Teon Holmes, 39, of Danville on several outstanding firearms charges. Police responded to a 911 call for shots fired in the area of North Avenue and Claiborne Street just before 11 p.m. Wednesday. Officers located the victim uninjured nearby. Evidence at the scene suggested Holmes fired several shots as the victim ran away.
Police looked for Holmes but were unable to find him. Detectives charged him with the possession of a firearm by a felon, attempted malicious wounding and the reckless handling of a firearm.
