Keith O’Brien Hairston turned himself in on May 4 for outstanding warrants related to shooting into a dwelling. He was being held in the Danville City Jail without bond.

Investigators charged Keith O’Brien Hairston, Jr., 20, for shooting into his girlfriend’s house late Tuesday night. Several people occupied the house at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured. Hairston left the scene before officers arrived and he may have traveled in the direction of his last known address in Cascade, Virginia.
Investigators obtained the following warrants on Hairston:
Virginia State Code 18.2-279 – Discharge firearms at dwelling house
Virginia State Code 18.2-53.1 – Use or display of firearm in committing felony
