The City of Danville announced today that disconnections for residential and commercial utility customers with delinquent accounts will be postponed until Sept. 14.
The two-week extension will allow customers more time to contact the collections office — 434-799-5125 — to work out payment arrangements.
Last week, the City had announced disconnections would resume on Sept. 1.
