[ARCHIVED] Caesars to present second employment webinar

Caesars Entertainment, in partnership with Averett University and Danville Community College, is offering a second virtual employment webinar from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27. The event is open to the public.

 

Hosted by Averett University and Danville Community College, the webinar will feature an informational presentation highlighting the careers and culture at Caesars Entertainment. Participating presenters will discuss their personal experiences with the company and be available to answer questions submitted through the webinar’s chatroom.

 

This online session is another opportunity for the public to get familiarized with Caesars Entertainment by learning more about the company, team members and potential employment opportunities.

The first virtual employment webinar was held on Oct. 6.

 

Caesars Virginia in Danville is a proposed $400 million premier destination resort casino slated to open in the Schoolfield area in 2023. The property plans to include at least 300 rooms with spa, pool and fitness center, a casino featuring slot machines, table games, poker tables and a sportsbook, a 2,500 state-of-the-art live entertainment theater, 35,000 square feet of meeting and convention space as well as exciting new restaurant and bar concepts. Caesars Virginia will bring 900 construction jobs during the construction period, 1,300 new jobs to the area as well as $34 million in additional gaming tax revenue.
