On 04-22-2021 an Amber Alert was issued by the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office about a parental abduction of 7-week-old Jupiter Aria Caudle, who was in the custody of her parents, Jody Allan Caudle, age 42 and Taylor Ann Crawford, age 24 at the time of the alert. A description of a vehicle they were operating, a Ford Edge with Virginia tags KN-2520, was also provided in the alert.
At the time of the alert the Danville Police Department was working with the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office to locate the child.
At approximately 7:18 PM today, the Danville Police Department located the parents in the 3000 block of West Main Street. After a brief investigation the child was located safely and unharmed with the parents. Both parents were taken into custody on unrelated charges. After being cleared by rescue personnel Jupiter was released to Caswell County Child Protective Services.
