At 7:30 pm tonight the Danville Fire Department Responded to a motor vehicle crash, with a vehicle that had struck a house at 128 Larchmont Way. Upon arrival units found a motor vehicle that had crashed into the front of a garage. Crews did an assessment of the structure and it was determined that the garage wall between the garage doors had been compromised. The Danville Fire departments technical rescue team responded to the scene. Once on scene technical rescue personnel built shoring and installed them to render the structure stable. Crews were able to remove the vehicle and the residence was determined to be safe for the occupants to stay in the home. There were no reported injuries. Three engines, one ladder truck, a safety officer and one chief officer responded from the fire department along with the Technical rescue personnel. Danville Life Saving Crew responded along with the Danville Police Department. Units were on the scene for approximately an hour and a half. No occupants were displaced.
