Parks and Recreation’s Music at the Market, a free summer concert series, continues Thursday, July 22, outside at the Community Market, with the bluegrass sound of the Danville/South Boston-based band Blue Drive. The concert begins at 7 p.m.
The concert series is sponsored by Danville Harvest Jubilee and is being held each Thursday through July 29. The summer series concludes next Thursday with Island Music Trio performing.
All shows start at 7 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Visitors are encouraged to visit the downtown restaurants and stores before or after the concert.
In case of rain, concerts will be moved inside the Community Market located at 629 Craghead St.
