A contract crew began repairs today on the bridge that carries eastbound traffic on Riverside Drive over the Sandy River next to Dairy Queen.
The project includes structural work to restore structural capacity for legal loads as well as other needed maintenance work. The work is scheduled for completion in late December, weather permitting.
Alternating lane closures will be required. At least one eastbound lane will remain open. All business will be accessible.
Motorists should slow down, be alert to changes in the traffic pattern, and allow more time to reach their destination.
Burleigh Construction is the contractor.
