At approximately 7:58PM, the Danville Police Department responded to the 400 block of Bradley Road for calls of shots fired and a male victim being shot. Officers located a victim, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound, in the street on Bradley Rd. The victim was pronounced non-viable by first responders. The victim was identified as 40-year-old Steve Gunter of Danville.
Danville Police Department officers, investigators, and crime scene technicians are on scene and a full-scale investigation is underway.
No suspect information is available for release at this time.
