The City Council on Tuesday night voted to amend the City Code regarding medical cannabis dispensing facilities. One change adds a cannabis dispensing facility to permitted uses in an HR-C Highway Retail Commercial zoning district.
The amendment removes cannabis dispensing facilities as a permitted use in an N-C Neighborhood Commercial zoning district. Also, the definition of cannabis dispensing facilities now includes all cannabis products.
The Planning Commission last month voted to recommend the changes.
