Our preliminary investigation determines there is a small cohort of individuals committing vehicle thefts across the city. To prevent this crime of opportunity, DPD wants to strongly encourage and remind Danville residents to lock their vehicle each and every he/she exits. It does not matter whether a citizen is at home, work, a parking lot, a grocery store, a public place, etc., do not leave your vehicle unlocked.
