DFD will be conducting a live burn training in the 100-block of Johnson Street starting Thursday 3/9. There will be more training days in the future over the months of March and April. With this training, there will be an increased amount of smoke in the area as well as heavy fire department presence. This event provides a valuable training opportunity for our staff allowing us to better prepare for real world fire emergencies. We appreciate the inconvenience to the citizens in this area in allowing us to train and improve our skills in service to our community.
