Danville Parks and Recreation will be hosting its annual Market Monster Mash event on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Danville Community Market. Admission to this Halloween event is free.

Visitors can expect a variety of fun activities at the event, including trunk-or-treat, caricatures, face painting, games, and a photo booth. There will also be food vendors onsite with items for purchase.

Downtown residents and visitors can expect a portion of Craghead Street, from Jackson Street to Deboe Street, to be closed for this event to safely take place. Convenient parking is available at Newton’s Landing, Acree’s Garage, and various locations throughout the downtown area.

"Market Monster Mash is an event that truly embodies the spirit of Halloween," said Taylor Roberts, Special Events Coordinator. "We look forward to welcoming everyone for an evening filled with laughter, fun, and, of course, some spooky surprises."
