At approximately 9:58am, Danville Police responded to the report of a child being struck by a vehicle in the 800 block of Noble Avenue. An eighteen month old female child was located with injuries. The Danville Life Saving Crew transported the child to the Danville Regional Medical Center for treatment for what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. According to the parents, they did not know that the child had wandered out of their home and into the street. The driver of the Ford Explorer that struck the child did not see her. At this time, no charges are anticipated.
