Weather and conditions permitting, beginning on Tuesday, May 4th and following, approximately 500 feet of the west bound lane of Riverside Drive from Riverview Drive to Park Avenue will be restricted to traffic to add a fourth lane to the roadway for a right turn lane.
This construction will reduce the available travel width on Riverside Drive and thereby may create periods of delay and traffic slow-downs, however, these restrictions are necessary to provide for the safety of the motoring public and the construction workmen.
This work will be performed by Crews Construction Co., Inc. of Dry Fork, VA and is expected to take 45 days to complete at an estimated cost of $46,045.
