Danville City Beautiful Committee's theme for this year has been "Beautify Your Neighborhood". The annual "Yard of the Month" recognition of outstanding yards within the City is a visual focus on beautifying neighborhoods.
Committee members, volunteers from local Garden Clubs, and other interested residents compose the roster of selected judges. Judging guidelines consider maintenance, landscape, design, and overall curb appeal. All areas of the City were judged using the same criteria and 44 winning residents were given a yard sign to proudly display for their accomplishments.
