2. How can I enroll someone in Project Life Saver?

Families and caregivers should contact the Danville Sheriff's Office at (434) 799-5135 and submit information on Alzheimer, Dementia, or Downs Syndrome victims. This information will be forwarded to the coordinator of the program to be reviewed for possible acceptance into the program.

3. How do I put money on an inmate’s account at the City Jail?

There are three ways to put money on an inmate’s account: 1)Credit card via telephone 2)Internet 3)Kiosk (located in the Danville City Jail lobby at 401 Patton Street) For more specific information, please see the link below.

4. Can I bring medication to an inmate?

Prescription medication will be accepted for inmates at any time. The medication must be in the prescription bottle. The same applies to glasses, hearing aids, etc. Any person caught attempting to deliver contraband to inmates will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
